Pine Nook Farm is a 20-stall facility with three large run in sheds and six separate turnout areas. Almost all of our turnout is fenced with three board wood fencing, backed with no-climb wire. We have turned to this combination of fencing in order to provide a safe and secure environment for horses of all types, from new foals to stallions.
We place an emphasis on turnout, and make sure that our horses get out every day except in the worst of weather. We are a small family run operation with over 30 years of experience in the equine world, and will treat your horse like one of the family. Email updates are provided upon request.
We blanket as needed, treat cuts and scapes, and have a high-quality feed program catered to the needs of individual horses. We use Poulin grains, which are made from only the highest-quality ingredients in Vermont, with stable ingredient lists and expert formualting for a variety of equine types. Our vet has been established in the area for over 30 years, and comes quickly when we need him. Our farrier has experience working with horses of all ages and disciplines.
We specialize in foaling, both pre- and post-natal care of the broodmare and foal, stallion handling and management, and kind, no-nonsense raising of youngstock.
